Overview Employee Relations Associates are responsible for providing support to employees and managers in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation. They work closely with Human Resources and other departments to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and that company policies are followed. Detailed Job Description Employee Relations Associates are responsible for providing support to employees and managers in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation. They work closely with Human Resources and other departments to ensure that all employees are treated fairly and that company policies are followed. They investigate and resolve employee complaints, provide guidance on employee relations issues, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They also provide guidance on performance management, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Additionally, they may provide training and development opportunities to employees. Job Skills Required• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least two years of experience in employee relations or a related field
• Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR or SPHR) is preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Knowledge of employee relations best practices
• Knowledge of performance management principles
• Knowledge of training and development principles
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in employee relations or a related field
• Experience in a Human Resources role is preferred
Job Responsibilities
• Investigate and resolve employee complaints
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Provide guidance on performance management, including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations
• Provide training and development opportunities to employees
• Maintain employee records and files
• Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures
• Monitor employee relations trends and recommend changes as needed
