Overview Employee Relations Coordinators are responsible for managing employee relations within an organization. They are responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships between employees and management, as well as providing guidance and support to employees on a variety of issues. They also provide advice and assistance to management on employee relations matters. Detailed Job Description Employee Relations Coordinators are responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships between employees and management. They provide guidance and support to employees on a variety of issues, including workplace policies, procedures, and regulations. They also provide advice and assistance to management on employee relations matters. They may also be responsible for conducting investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and other matters. Additionally, they may be responsible for developing and implementing employee relations programs and initiatives. Job Skills Required• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of employment law and regulations
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• At least two years of experience in employee relations or a related field
• Professional certification in Human Resources or related field (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of employment law and regulations
• Knowledge of employee relations best practices
• Knowledge of employee relations policies and procedures
• Knowledge of employee benefits and compensation
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in employee relations or a related field
• Experience in conducting investigations into employee complaints and grievances
• Experience in developing and implementing employee relations programs and initiatives
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain positive relationships between employees and management
• Provide guidance and support to employees on a variety of issues
• Provide advice and assistance to management on employee relations matters
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and other matters
• Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives
• Monitor employee relations trends and recommend changes to policies and procedures
• Maintain records of employee relations activities and programs
• Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees
