Electrical Supervisor Jobs

As an integral member of the Physical Planning and Design Solutions, the Engineering AutoCAD Supervisor, organizes and orchestrates design projects, (under the direction of) in conjunction with the Engineering Construction Manager and Supervisors. The principal responsibilities include: assist/support the Engineering Construction Manager and Supervisors in developing construction documentation and strategies to facilitate the cost effective and timely execution of multiple/simultaneous large/small scale construction projects for assigned user groups; (assist as requested in) coordinating and implementing large/small scale planning strategies for assigned user group; performing administrative and financial responsibilities to ensure the efficient and effective operation of division of the Engineering department; performing cross-functional and other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned; oversee and supervise CAD Technicians and CAD student(s) and establish their work schedule; develop guidelines to manage and handle construction documents; review as-built drawings and coordinate updating of existing database.

• Excellent problem recognition and resolution skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy and experience utilizing other programs such as Microsoft word, Excel, etc.
• Minimum five or more years related experience in project coordination,
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to produce high quality reports and meet scheduling deadlines
• Minimum three years management/supervisory experience
• Completion of an Interior Design program an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Completion of an Architectural Technology or Technician Diploma program from recognized post secondary institute
• Minimum five years experience working in a hospital environment an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Minimum two years experience in AutoCAD architectural drafting in detailed design
