The Electro-Mechanical CSS (Customer Site Supervisor) is critical to the smooth operation of our customers distribution centers and will be required to supervise and work alongside a team of Customer Service Technicians performing work involving troubleshooting, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on our customers various material handling systems. The CSS Site Supervisor will ensure preventive maintenance schedules are met & corrective actions are completed as required, with support from the CSTs they will be supervising. The CSS Site Supervisor represents Honeywell Intelligrated at the customer location and will also need to follow our customers’ guidelines for safety and general work practices.
Supervisor Responsibilities Include
  • Assists in forecasting and follows-up on staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands for workload and performance results.
  • May oversee and direct financial aspects as assigned by monitoring and tracking expenses, preparing, reviewing and/or analyzing business reports.
  • Follows up with customers and other departments to ensure issues have been resolved.
  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Provides resolution to mechanical, technical, & controls issues; documents all information relating to customer support issues in CMMS and Dashboard database.
  • Executes a safe, timely, & quality-oriented PM program on the conveyor system.
  • Adheres to all department and company standards, operating procedures and safety requirements while contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Monitors and ensures areas of responsibility follow Intelligrated’s standards for quality and safety, maintaining procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Assists in driving and implementing the business plan against the contract for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety); implements operational improvements.
  • Assigns and monitors maintenance department daily operation related to maintaining the material handling equipment covered under the contract, while ensuring the team members comply with local and federal regulations relating to the maintenance operations.
  • Ensures the appropriate paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Supervises and leads a team of Customer Service Technicians.
  • Provides information to management and other teams enhance Customer Service success.
  • Maintains inventory of spare part and company provided tools, electronics, and test eq.
  • Ability to work varying shifts as well as on weekends and holidays as required.

Electro-Mechanical Responsibilities Include
  • Ability to work at heights using Mobile Elevating Work Platforms.
  • Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.
  • Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g., multi-meter, other test devices, laptop).
  • Completes work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious.
  • Participates in cleaning the conveyor systems and organizes part cage as appropriate.
  • Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., pneumatic systems, mechanical, electronic, and electrical equipment, etc.) according to safety and quality procedures.
  • Utilizes TCPiP as a troubleshooting/setup tool.
  • Work individually and/or as part of a team to repair, maintain and service industrial equipment.
You Must Have
  • High school diploma, equivalent required.
  • MS Office Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Immunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with public health law.
  • Post-Secondary education in Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering Field having obtained a certificate or degree in said field.
  • Minimum two (5) years Mechanical and/or Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience working on material handling equipment including: conveyor, sortation, palletizers, and robotics.
  • Strong communication skills: verbal and written.
Preferred
  • Controls troubleshooting experience.
  • Networking troubleshooting experience.
  • Previous customer service and interaction experience.
  • Strong safety record.
