Job Title: CISCO System Engineers
Location: Ottawa, ON (100% onsite in downtown Ottawa)
Project start: Mid to late July 2023
Project End Date: March 31, 2024
Days of Effort: 180 days (based on 7 hours/day)
Security Clearance: Secret Level (mandatory)
Introduction

• The systems engineers will be involved in the deployment phase of NS product initiatives and will work closely with the client NS product team.
• Our client has the need for CISCO systems engineers to aid with the deployment of CISCO lifecycle products. This will require the following type of work: testing, prototyping, documentation, validation, troubleshooting and analysis of CISCO products in our lab and production environments.

1.1 Requirement

• The CISCO System Engineers will report to the Networking Product Development Manager to receive their assignments.

2 Activities and Deliverables
The following section describes the services and associated deliverables

• Preparation of Build books for CISCO products
• Prototyping / configuration of CISCO networking solutions in the lab
• Pre-release testing for deployments
• Assist in the day-to-day preparations with the project team to ensure successful deployments
• Assist with capturing lessons learned on an ongoing basis
• Troubleshoot issues with installation hardware, networking protocols, End-device hardware which includes setup and testing in the lab
• Development and documentation of test templates and test results
• Research on protocol and configuration problems and providing findings
• Execute plans for Deployment of CISCO Lifecycle product
