Director, Strategic Account Management

Neo Financial has a full time opportunity for a Director, Strategic Account Management to join our team in Calgary, AB. This is a unique opportunity to join a centralized founding team that manages strategic partnerships across all of Neo. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing and executing some of Neo’s most complex and high impact partnership activities while having a strong technical aptitude to identify best in class partnerships for Neo’s platform. This includes managing relationships and negotiations for partnership deals which are unconventional in nature and/or have broader implications to Neo. This is a critical, hands on role that will have a direct impact on the strategic direction of Neo. Make your mark with transformative products and technologies, alongside some of Canada’s most successful business strategists.

What you’ll be doing:

• Steer executive-level discussions, in collaboration with various stakeholders both internally and externally
• Identify, source and close strategic partners; driving meaningful impact for both Neo and our partners
• Translate strategic objectives into an executional roadmap, and work to define products and solutions tailored to achieve the objectives of each partnership
• Working closely with Neo’s finance team; develop commercial agreements and models to secure new partnerships that drive long-term value for both parties
• Help partners rethink the impact of Neo’s platform on their business and accelerate their transformation efforts
• Work directly with Neo’s senior leadership and serve as the relationship owner for major partner accounts
• Achieve desired outcomes using your exceptional EQ to work effectively cross-functionally and with external stakeholders
• Develop a deep understanding of prospective partner businesses, understanding the key drivers that impact the partner’s performance in order to identify and design solutions that help achieve their business objectives

Who we are looking for:

• Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment
• 4+ years of experience in a consulting environment, internal strategy team, or strategic partnerships teams
• Proven experience working with large enterprises and working with senior stakeholders
• Drive and commitment to strive for excellent
• An MBA/other advanced degrees (Finance, Engineering, etc) is an asset
• Strong conceptual thinking with a strategic mind
• Strong understanding of retail, loyalty, banking, financial services, and digital transformation
• Proven ability to work in a cross functional environment
