The Opportunity:
The mission of the Director, Retail Channel (North America) is to lead the Retail Sales team to drive & execute the channel strategy; including where Lomi is found, how consumers interact with Lomi, and the way that interaction will fit into the overall channel go-to-market plan for future launches. You will work primarily with our sales, marketing, operations teams and retail partners to ensure we have the best products, at the best storefronts for our Brand.

The Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and support the Retail Sales team as well as a vast network of Manufacturers' Representatives and Distributors across different geographies and time zones
- Build a robust path to constant assisted-retail exposure via local retail activations and roadshows and drive results of that program
- Assess and adjust business practices that align and support the various complexities and unique requirements of doing business with the major Retailers and Distributors in the market, including: setup requirements, how to be successful in the stores, how to track sales, orders, payments, etc
- Be the expert in determining the localization needs when entering new markets and the storytelling needed to find success
- Use your vast network to foster new partnerships in Retail
- Inform other departments, such as Product, Finance, Marketing, and Operations of the best practices to drive success in Retail
- Support established external relationships as the senior leader of the Retail Sales team and lead the relationship with select strategic accounts
- Digest departmental KPIs and align retail targets and resources to ensure success
- Manage the Retail & Distribution P&L, including forecasting, approval, and margin
- Planning, facilitating, and supporting the needs of the Channel
- Use strategic foresight across channels and markets to determine margin, pricing, and other key commercial considerations for our products
- Self-directed problem solver; proactive and resourceful
- Experience with Netsuite or other ERP systems, CRM systems, such as Pipedrive, Hubspot, or Salesforce
- Exceptional current experience working directly with National Retail customers, including: launching new retail relationships, managing various promotions and campaigns across a broad retail landscape, and a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- 5+ years experience leading a Retail & Distribution Sales team across various Retailers in a matrix environment- including, Direct Selling and Representatives
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Results-oriented and process-driven
- A history of launching new products and retail relationships and building the business into a long-term revenue generating channel
