Coty is seeking a talented, highly motivated, and experienced individual to lead Coty's Canada E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Team.


Reporting to the Senior Sales Directors, as E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Director you will own, implement, and manage the E-Commerce and Digital strategy of the portfolio to achieve defined business objectives (KPIs).


You will work closely with the Brand, the Commercial and Multifunctional Teams in Canada.


THE ROLE


In this role you will be responsible for:


Own the e-Commerce strategy, planning and execution:


  • Developing and managing a team of 3 employees
  • Recommending channel specific and online exclusive promotional strategies to drive e-commerce business
  • Leading ROI analysis on all e-commerce & digital marketing initiatives
  • Managing profit & loss (P&L) statements
  • Forecasting and inventory management for new product launches
  • Conducting online sales performance analysis and optimizing operational dashboards
  • E-Commerce product content & SEO optimization
  • Managing online add/delete calendars for online product offer updates.
  • Leading weekly customer calls and actions needed
  • Developing strong e-commerce merchandising strategies for new launches and rollouts
  • Managing and optimizing online product offers
  • Owning e-commerce animation side-by-side calendars, ensuring initiatives are being anniversaried


Digital marketing, social media & content management


  • Effective management of fixed deadline projects and media budget
  • Leading content ideation, strategy and national campaign development & integration to ensure creative excellence across all touchpoints, aligned with the brand strategy
  • Building alliances with strategic media partners (Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, Amazon Ads, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Continuously optimizing all marketing channel activities
  • Running strategic competitive intelligence analysis
  • Omni-channel marketing strategy planning
  • Leading weekly agency calls and actions needed
  • Implementing and optimizing operational dashboards, performance reports and creative analysis
  • Planning Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns


What You’ll Bring


We’d love to see candidates who have:


Min. of 10 years of experience in eCommerce and/or local strategic business development


Required experience:


  • Organized in action: Able to organize own work as well as manage and develop others effectively.
  • Proficiency with data analytics and visualization (making complex matters appear simple)
  • Constructive networker: Collaborates easily with others and adapts to different working styles. Ability to embrace changes, committed, honest.
  • Creator mindset: Proven ability to develop creative solutions, thinking strategically, analytically, and conceptually. Solution provider and problem solver, with a pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Preferred experience: people management, P&L management (input to P&L, not full ownership), e-retail, Amazon account management, Digital marketing
  • Business development in CPG, setting and implementing commercial strategies (price, promo, assortment), negotiating eCommerce Retailer contracts, collaborating multifunctionally, inspiring and activating internal and external stakeholders
  • Team Player: Ability to develop effective working relationships, being able to collaborate and influence others, demonstrating integrity and respect.
  • Self-starter: Passionate, enthusiastic, thrives on challenges and keeps a healthy attitude under pressure, takes charge of self-development.
  • Excellence in execution: Reliable, gets things done on time and takes responsibility for the quality of all deliverables. Attention to details.
