Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
• Collaborate with data team to define and optimize table structures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Assist on the maintaince of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to populate data tables with accurate and up-to-date information.
• Utilize our data warehouse to design and create data tables based on business requirements.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify specifications, and ensure timely delivery of requested data.
• Identify and investigate data discrepancies or anomalies within the datasets used in dashboards.
• Prioritize and evaluate data requests based on their urgency, impact, and alignment with business goals.
• Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Tableau software.
• Extract data from various sources, transform and manipulate it as needed, and create meaningful and insightful dashboards.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency across different data sources.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Data Warehousing: Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience working with a cloud-based data warehousing platform like Snowflake. Knowledge of table creation, data modeling, and ETL processes is a plus.
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies and dashboard issues. Ability to investigate problems, think analytically, and propose effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure data accuracy, identify anomalies, and maintain quality in dashboards and data tables.
• SQL and Data Manipulation: Good command of SQL for data querying, filtering, and transformation tasks. Ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
• Proficiency in Tableau: Strong skills in creating interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Tableau. Familiarity with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Data Analysis: Familiarity with data analysis techniques and tools. Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify patterns, and provide insights based on the data.
• Continuous Learning: Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and techniques related to data visualization and analytics.
