As we scale up our team internationally, we have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and driven Senior Data Analyst to join our Data team. This role will play a key part in expanding our use of data to benefit our users and client partners. The candidate will be a key liaison between business and data areas. The candidate will contribute to creating a set of best practices in partnership with the Data Architect. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and ambitious and must thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to building Springpod’s analytical ecosystem following architecture principles set by the Data and Analytics area
• Build data visualizations
• Contribute to data assets catalogs and documentation by using standards previously set
• Gather business requirements directly from key stakeholders

Experience

• Experience performing data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation tasks to ensure data quality and consistency
• Experience implementing data lakes and data warehouses in cloud environments
• Experience working with user data, with student (13-18) data being beneficial
• Experience gathering business requirements from key stakeholders
• Familiarity with data quality concepts
• Basic knowledge and/or experience on ML/AI projects

• Experience working across multiple stacks, include LAMP
• Experience creating and following documentation guidelines and development best practices

Knowledge

• Advanced data quality and data warehousing concepts
• Data security and privacy policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Certifications in the Business Analysis field are valuable (IBAA-ECBA, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL
• Strong knowledge on a variety of BI reporting tools. Amazon Quicksight and Holistics are a bonus
