We're looking for a skilled Data Analyst who can think critically about business processes and see the bigger picture to support the achievement of business objectives. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to discover and analyze requirements, and build business intelligence reports to aid in business decision making. This is an exciting opportunity to work cross-functionally in key projects across the organization and have a strong influence on company objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the Business Intelligence strategy via critical assessment of emerging data management technologies and gaining a deep understanding of business processes and tools
• Work with internal business areas to define business data models and reporting requirements
• Design and implement report templates using a variety of tools, including the ability to develop scripts for those tools
• Perform complex data analysis that requires critical thinking and report development activities

Knowledge And Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiar with business intelligence (BI) reporting tools such as PowerBI, Tableau etc.
• Client-focused mindset with proven experience building strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP is an asset
• Strong excel skills, familiarity with various formulas (experience with VBA macros or scripting considered assets)
• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in a relevant business field, with 3-5 years of experience working in a Data Analyst role
