Corporate Accountant

As Corporate Accountant, you are responsible for ensuring that Rohit’s financial records are accurate and complete. You will be responsible for reporting and compliance, cash flow monitoring and forecasting.

What will you do?

• Completion of all compliance matters in connection with Rohit Group including taxation.
• Monitoring and collection of Accounts Receivables
• Research and analysis of tax issues related to the company.
• Review of the monthly returns for GST, PST, and New Home GST Rebate.
• Preparation and analysis of quarterly/annual financial statements
• Preparation of year-end documents and analytics required by external accountants.
• Development and production of corporate presentations relating to operating performance, as required.
• Reconciling bank accounts weekly
• Completion of all monthly journal entries including bank reconciliations.
• Review journal entries and working papers prepared by other team members
• Other duties as required.
• Assist in development of policies and procedures to document and implement appropriate internal controls.
• Maintenance of monthly account reconciliations.
• Maintenance of multiple General Ledgers
• Preparation of the monthly operational reports and job/projects cost analysis

• Experience with:

• Ability to work in fast paced, deadline orientated team environment.
• A minimum of 3 years’ financial reporting and analysis experience.
• And/or Corporations, limited partnerships, and joint ventures would be considered an asset.
