Junior Development Accountant (Calgary) (2023-2214)

You will

• Calculate, assemble, and submit monthly construction loan draw requests
• Perform other adhoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the Development Accounting Team
• Complete monthly cheque runs; and process quick payments
• Deposit cheques using TD remote deposit capture
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in updating working files as needed with accounting data
• Perform accurate data entry of accounts payable invoices
• Prepare deposit vouchers

You have

• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of AX 2012
• A minimum 2-year accounting/bookkeeping experience and some post-secondary education in Accounting
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Proven ability to work with multiple priorities and competing deadlines

• A roll up your sleeves attitude, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Accurate, detail oriented and very organized.
• An independent worker with a proactive approach
