Senior Accountant Jobs

Recruitment Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Airdrie. The successful candidate role will be maintaining accounting records at the entity level and providing timely and accurate financial reporting information.
Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations
• Establish internal controls, monitor compliance with policies and procedures
• Perform other daily and weekly financial and reporting requirements as needed
• Responsible for month end reconciliations and preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial disclosures
• Prepare month end financial and operational reporting packages
• Assist with preparation of full cycle accounting records for various entities, accounts receivable, expenses and accounts payable.
• Ensure positive continuous improvement to the accounting and reporting function and associated processes

Your Strengths And Qualifications Include

• Bachelors Finance/Accounting degree, CPA designation or pursuing
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, excellent communication and organizational skills
• 5+ years’ of relevant industry experience
• Experience with Sage 300 or QuickBooks would be an asset
