- Experience in community development / government program delivery and implementation will be considered an asset;
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Must demonstrate political acuity and be able to integrate this skill into the position’s activities;
- Must have advance knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- The physical demands analysis associated with this job indicates a sedentary level of work.
- Must have the ability to travel to off-site locations in a timely and expedient manner as required. If method of travel is by vehicle, a current valid and lawful Driver’s License is required in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act and must provide a driver’s abstract as a condition of employment.
- Experience using databases, information management systems and statistical software, such as Microsoft Power BI, will be considered an asset;
- Must demonstrate ability to interpret data, legislation, program material and analyze issues;
- Ability to provide service in both English and French is also considered an asset.
- Must have experience in managing relationships with corporate and community partners;
- Must have a working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, Corporations Act, Housing Services Act, Occupational Health& Safety Act, as well as other labour-related legislation;
- Must have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the housing and homelessness field, strategic, analytical and financial planning or related field and demonstrated leadership experience;
- Accreditation through Certified Property Management (C.P.M.) or the Institute of Housing Management (I.H.M.) will be considered an asset;
- Must have proven leadership qualities and be both self-motivates and a team player;
- ORMust have a University Degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the housing and homelessness field, strategic, analytical and financial planning or related field and demonstrated leadership experience.
- ORMust have a Community College Diploma in Business Administration or Social Sciences or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in the housing and homelessness field, strategic, analytical and financial planning or related field and demonstrated leadership experience.
- Must have experience and ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and maintain appropriate confidentiality levels;
