18 month maternity leave contract
Scope: The part-time Financial and Fundraising Administration Coordinator is responsible for the clerical, financial and customer service activities and will assist with fundraising to help support the operations of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. A flexible schedule including some hybrid hours possible in this position.
Reporting to: Director of Operations
Supervising: Volunteers and Interns
Responsibilities:
Reception and customer service
Incoming and outgoing mail coordination
Maintenance of the Raiser’s Edge donor database
Accounts payable processing
Accounts receivable processing including bank deposits, issuing tax receipts and processing memberships
Month-end revenue reconciliation
Annual financial audit support
Liaise with bookkeeper and accountant
Clerical support for Board of Directors, Committees, Director of Operations and other senior staff
Assisting with hiring staff and government grants
Assisting with website and social media maintenance
Induction activity support
Other duties as required
Skills:
Administration/office/bookkeeping or other relevant experience
Experience working with Raiser’s Edge computer software preferred
Experience with fundraising/government grants
Customer service aptitude
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
Computer proficiency
Demonstrated passion for community service
Education: Post-secondary education with an emphasis on administration
Terms of Employment:
20 hours per week
Flexible schedule including some hybrid hours possible
Must be available for occasional early morning or evenings
Rate of Pay: $20/hour
Start date: Wednesday, September 6, 2023
