Computer Networking Instructor- Mississauga

triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking a Computer Networking Instructor to join our team at the Mississauga Campus located inside Square One Mall.

Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of the instructor position is to plan, organize and deliver curriculum to students in an instructor led environment. The instructor will evaluate student performance relating to the curricula using a variety of assessments. The instructor will assist with activities to support student success, including student internship and job placement, industry liaison and administrative functions when required.

The Computer Networking Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity, and fostering inclusion.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Knowledge of D2L Brightspace or another learning management system is considered an asset.
• Network Infrastructure
• Fundamentals of UNIX
• University degree in Computer Science is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Wireless Networking
• Professional CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred.
• Experience installing and configuring computer operating systems and services.
• Five (5) years of related work experience in the industry as a networking professional; theoretical and practical knowledge of the requisite hardware, software, and networking equipment used in lab settings.
• Microsoft Server Administration
• Virtualization
• Email/ Web Server Admin
• Teaching experience is preferred; teaching areas include but are not limited to:

Hours Of Work

There are multiple openings available for this role. The hours will be:

8 am – 12 pm Monday to Thursday

1 pm – 5 pm Monday to Thursday

6 pm – 10 pm Monday to Thursday

The scheduled start date for this opportunity is August 8th, 2023.
