Position: Junior Controller

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 Yearly

Industry: Marketing/ Accounting/ Bookkeeping

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Type: On-site

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily bookkeeping along with AP and AR
• Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecasts
• Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
• Other duties as assigned
• Manage journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing
• Support most aspects of accounting management
• Participate in preparation for the annual audit

Qualifications & Experience

• Post secondary degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong background in bookkeeping, AP and AR
• Proficient in MS applications
• Excellent attention to detail and multi tasking skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• 5 -7 years of accounting experience in a similar position required
