Responsibilities
In this Junior Accountant role in Mississauga, you will be responsible for the following:

• Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation
• Responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and all invoicing in compliance with company policies
• Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation
• Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform month-end close, and journal entries, with minimum supervision

Qualifications
We are looking for the following for this Junior Accountant role located in Mississauga:

• Experience working SAP or similar ERP is an asset.
• A bachelor’s degree in either business administration or accounting.
• Experience working in Manufacturing or similar industry is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience across all aspects of the function including AP, AR, journal entries, and reconciliation.
