Job Summary
The incumbent supports all tasks and operations related to reception. They must also ensure compliance with standards and procedures related to occupational health and safety.
Main Responsibilities
Verify the received material.
  • Place the merchandise on shelves.
  • Check for missing labels.
  • Begin a complaint process in the event of missing or broken goods.
  • Communicate with suppliers if there is a discrepancy in the goods.
  • Validate quantities before entering stock.
  • Work in collaboration with various departments of the administrative centre.
  • Effectively follow up on correction requests sent by the payables department.
  • Sort the products for each of the departments.
  • Check the delivery documents to ensure that what is entered corresponds to the goods received, note the missing quantities, check the condition of the goods, and refuse those that are damaged.
Manage defective products.
  • Order missing parts from suppliers.
  • Manage and monitor RMAs in accordance with procedures.
  • Classify returns by suppliers in the area provided for this purpose.
  • Understand the different defective management methods and assess the relevance of returns.
Send the material to other branches.
  • Pack and identify the material to be sent and ship the material respecting the delivery route.
  • Prepare merchandise for inter-warehouse transfers, while respecting deadlines.
Know the products.
  • Know the methods and processes to be followed within their department/department as well as those of adjacent departments.
  • Have knowledge of the offered products.
Training/Experience/Certification
Required Skills and Qualifications Profile
  • Have a minimum of 3 months of retail experience.
  • Have a high school diploma.
Knowledge
  • Have ease in using a computer system.
  • Have a good command of the French language, both orally and in writing.
Required Skills And Aptitudes
  • Be a good communicator and be professional.
  • Have dexterity for handling products.
  • Have good listening skills, good team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
  • Be resourceful, honest, and autonomous.
