Chemical Cleaning Operator Jobs

OCL Specialty Service is currently looking for Chemical Cleaning Operators to join our growing team. Our Chemical Cleaning Operators are responsible to ensure the safe set up and execution of chemical cleaning projects throughout western Canada.
This position supports the chemical cleaning specialty service and we travel to the work – the majority is located in Alberta with the occasional job in Manitoba, Saskatchewan or British Columbia. Travel is paid and per diem is provided each job!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality services to our customers
• Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned
• Complete minor maintenance and checks on specialty equipment
• Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
• Complete field level hazard assessments
• Operate Chemical Cleaning equipment in various industrial atmospheres
• Report on problems and the solutions to Management
• Report all injuries and incidents immediately to appropriate company personnel
• Live OCL’s value of DOING IT RIGHT & never compromising on safety, quality and relationship building
• Ensure equipment is safe, maintained, inspected and used correctly.
• Ensure compliance to Health & Safety and Work practices

Requirements

• Have & maintain a valid drivers license, and acceptable drivers abstract
• Flexible, willing to work long hours if required. Willing to travel.
• Valid CSO, confined space, fall protection and H2S Alive ticket an asset
• Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and ladders, as well as heavy lifting
• Minimum of five (2) years’ experience chemical cleaning equipment in an industrial setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills, attention to detail
• A self-motivated individual that requires minimum supervision and with goal and team-oriented attitude
• Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
• Experience pulling heavy trailers will be an asset
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
