Minimum 3 years previous Industrial or Chemical Cleaning experience; WHMIS experience would be considered an asset

Some knowledge of basic chemistry would be an asset.

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

Minimum of a high school diploma / GED

Comfortable with the use of computer/electronic equipment

Ability to demonstrate experience using Microsoft programs, maintenance management systems and email.

Following all plant safety guidelines such as: Confined Space, Working with heights Management of Change, Hot Work and Operating Procedures

Minimum 1 year of experience working in chemical manufacturing or manufacturing/production.

Experience working with forklifts preferred.

Perform chemical manufacturing operations in safe and effective manner.

Recording information, such as ingredients, weights, and temperature, and inputting into database.

You have a minimum of 2 years experience, including certification and experience in the operation of a tow motor

You must have a post secondary education

DCS experience is an asset

Operate the packaging line and assist with any required trouble-shooting or maintenance activities as needed.

Assist production team with any finished product related issues as necessary.

Use proper lifting techniques when manual material handling is required

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

The Chemical Analyst will have the following duties and responsibilities:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements

Develop setup for processing and characterizing consumer plastics

Perform syntheses, processing, and characterization of plastic materials

- Assist in inventory management, ensuring an adequate supply of raw materials and reagents.

- Working knowledge and experience with HPLC, UPLC instruments.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and documentation protocols.

- Experience in conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results.

- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow protocols accurately.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Lead activities related to the technology licensing process and procurement

Provide technical support for capital projects involving petrochemical units at various stages of execution (pre-feasibility, feasibility, basic and detailed engineering)

Lead the strategic evaluation of licensing agreements

Environmental or Chemical Engineering Technician or Technologist or related diploma or post secondary education in environmental sciences, chemistry, or equivalent

Gather liquid and solid soil samples to determine contamination level and assess treatment and disposal options

Perform chemical and physical tests of soil samples

Receive, identify, sort and prepare for disposal incoming household and business hazardous waste

Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers

Ability to work 8 or 12hr shifts (possible night shifts) as required.

Excellent time-management and organizational skills, attention to detail

Report on problems and the solutions to Management
