Job Description
Key Accountabilities And Activities
  • Receive, identify, sort and prepare for disposal incoming household and business hazardous waste
  • Perform chemical and physical tests of soil samples
  • Gather liquid and solid soil samples to determine contamination level and assess treatment and disposal options
  • Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers
  • Bulking/blending chemical waste
Requirements
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
  • Ability to work 8 or 12hr shifts (possible night shifts) as required.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Environmental or Chemical Engineering Technician or Technologist or related diploma or post secondary education in environmental sciences, chemistry, or equivalent
