We are seeking 2 or more dedicated and detail-oriented Scientific Formulation Assistant to join our team. As a Scientific Formulation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the formulation development process within our organization. You will work closely with scientists and researchers to assist in the formulation of various products, ensuring their effectiveness and quality.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in Formulation Development:
- Prepare laboratory-scale experiments and conduct tests to evaluate formulations' properties and performance.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for formulation development.
- Accurately measure and mix ingredients according to formulation specifications.
2. Conduct Formulation Analysis:
- Perform physical and chemical tests on formulated products to assess their stability and other relevant parameters.
- Use analytical instruments and equipment to analyze samples and generate accurate data.
- Record and document experimental procedures, observations, and results in a detailed and organized manner.
- Assist in interpreting and analyzing data to draw meaningful conclusions.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations on formulation experiments, findings, and progress.
- Maintain accurate records of all formulation-related activities, including formulations, test results, and observations.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and documentation protocols.
4. Laboratory Management:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the formulation laboratory.
- Handle chemicals, materials, and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Assist in inventory management, ensuring an adequate supply of raw materials and reagents.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Working knowledge and experience with HPLC, UPLC instruments.
- Strong understanding of scientific principles and formulation concepts.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques, equipment, and instruments used in formulation development.
- Experience in conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results.
- Proficiency in scientific software and tools for data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow protocols accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
