6+ years of professional software development experience

Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems

Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores

Experience with Java, Golang or Scala programming is a plus

Lead engineering architecture design reviews

Generate and evaluate mechanical concepts satisfying sub-system functions, objectives, and constraints.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

-Experience in the design of valves and/or other types of pressure retaining equipment is an asset

-Knowledge of fluid power systems, instrumentation, basic electronics is an asset

-High degree of math skills including geometry and trigonometry

3+ years of project management for product development and new product launch in the cosmetic industry is required to be considered.

Proficient in Wrike, Microsoft projects, Microsoft Suite, Google tool suite, project management software and approaches (Agile and Hybrid project management)

Ensure that all supporting cross-functional teams understand their responsibilities and the required timeframes associated with their deliverables.

Engineering/Technical background in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering (other relevant education and experiences will be considered);

3 years practical experience in plastic part design, mold design or automation industry with knowledge of the following areas:

Excellent interpersonal skills in formal and informal contexts;

Prepare RFQ (Request for Quote) packages for new tooling, End of arm tools, automation equipment etc.

Preparation of Cavity Layouts and basic mold concepts for RFQ packages

Design reviews and approvals with mold shop producing tooling

Proven project coordination and management skills
