As Vice President of Product Development of the sensor interface division, you will be responsible for managing the product development teams, delivering leading edge next generation products from specification, early concept exploration, planning, design, implementation to commercialization, bringing innovative solutions to life.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in driving architecture design and circuit design based on high-level specifications.
• Participate in the definition of the overall product and IP strategy and multi-year roadmap of the division in alignment with the company's objectives, market trends, and customer needs cooperating with CTO, marketing, and applications teams.
• Own technical outcome of design, verification, implementation, and execution of sensor interface ICs, with a focus on ultra-low power analog and digital signal processing.
• Drive product development of differentiated products, from concept to production, on market-driven aggressive timelines, within budget, with high quality and First Pass Success.
• Foster a culture of innovation.
• Collaborate with application engineering, system development, product definers, firmware and software development teams, central engineering and product engineering on product features and architecture, IP development and design for test and manufacturability.
• Lead, motivate, train, and create career growth opportunities for the team members.
• Work with cross-functional teams on program management, technology, product, test, packaging, and applications teams at all project phases, eliminate barriers and enhance product development methods across the organization.
• Manage, hire, and mentor a diverse global team of development engineers and groom high performant leaders in Product and IP development teams.
• Tracking industry standard benchmarks and driving achievement of best-in-class product specifications and advanced development methods across the organization.
• Identify, recommend, and implement new systems, tools, processes, and technologies to improve design, reuse organizational processes and decision-making.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience in simplifying complex problems into smaller problems and solving them as a team
• Ability to clearly articulate issues, challenges, and concerns to all levels of management
• Strong mixed signal IC design skills, debug of complex deep submicron silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in leading-edge design and verification tools
• Solid understanding of various microcontrollers, analog and digital signal processing, ultra low power design and deep submicron design
• Extensive knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and methodologies.
• Understand system partitioning, firmware development and technical aspects, best practices, and design methodologies for ultra-low power sensing and ultra-lower compute IC designs
• Ability to attract and retain key engineering talent
• 15 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with the product and product development requirements supporting the automotive and industrial market
• Solid track record of releasing complex ICs at industry leading pace to market.
• Solid track record and experience in similar role.
• Goal and outcome-focused with the ability to handle multiple projects within the team
