Gas Plant Operator - Local Position

We are seeking a Gas Plant Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of ABSA regulatory requirements, field operations, and maintenance tasks. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, this role is essential to our operation's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input key field data into our production reporting system, adhering to operational requirements.
• Coordinate day-to-day operation and upkeep of facilities, roads, and pipelines, and modify daily route based on downtime, production, and risk factors.
• Ensure all field operations comply with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures, and participate in safety and environmental inspections at facilities and wells.
• Maintain a good understanding of ABSA regulatory requirements.
• Perform daily production-related activities for area and properties, identifying optimization techniques to increase production and reduce downtime.
• Assist with inventory management for the area, sourcing equipment for maintenance tasks in line with procurement procedures.
• Identify field maintenance needs with the Lead Operator and assist in developing preventative maintenance plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Capture field costs accurately and participate in initiatives to reduce operating costs.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including upkeep of rotating equipment and chemical pumps, and general housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• Valid H2S Alive, WHMIS, T.D.G, and First Aid
• Must be Local to Grande Prairie Ab. No Camp Provided
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
• 4th class Power Engineering or Higher would be an asset
