At Adecco, we are thrilled to announce that we are currently seeking a full-time Field Operator to join the team at one of Canada's leading petroleum refiners. In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of operating equipment and wells, ensuring smooth operations while adhering to strict safety procedures and guidelines. You'll play a vital role in achieving daily operational plans, minimizing equipment failures, and optimizing resource management. If you possess excellent communication skills, a strong aptitude for Safety, Health, and Environment practices, and the technical expertise to excel in this field, then this job was made for you!

- Participate in toolbox meetings and safety meetings
- Maintain wellhead and well surface equipment in good working order
- Report any issues with alarm or emergency shutdown systems
- Monitor and coordinate maintenance jobs
- Provide detailed reports at shift changes to ensure operational continuity
- Perform simple maintenance as an Equipment Care Technician
- Report incidents as per guidelines and communicate with Operations Shift Supervisor
- Log operational events and deviations in the work area, equipment, or personnel
- Support ongoing Wellwork operations as needed
- Monitor wells and equipment for optimization and corrective actions
- Participate in emergency response activities
- Implement daily work objectives focused on safety, health, environment, and security
- Execute field laboratory tests and take product samples for lab analysis
- Proficiency in pipeline operations, safety/operations management tools, and processes is strongly desired.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards in Safety, Health, and Environment practices.
- Prior experience as a Field Technician or Operator is essential for this role.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Successful completion of secondary education or technical training in a related field is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Emergency Preparedness Procedures, Design Specifications, and relevant regulations is advantageous.
