Job Title: Frac/Wireline Mechanic (Field)

Location: Grande Prairie, AB / Clairmont, AB

Contract Length: 6 months, with possibility of extension or being hired on

Shift: 10 days on, 4 days off

Description

The Frac/Wireline Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance services, including basic engine and transmission repairs. Performs basic repairs on tractors and trailers. Assists the Maintenance team positions with repairs and troubleshooting. This position is field based.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Red Seal Certification
• Advanced knowledge of how to use engine/transmission diagnostic software
• Basic understanding of Lime Software

General Tasks & Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic shooting and repair
• Engine trouble shooting repair and replacement
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electronic schematics
• Can weld and fabricate at a proficient level
• Preferred 3 years of oil field maintenance experience
• Understands hydraulic formulas and how to do calculations for flow
• Must follow all safety regulations and standards
