We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator to work at one of our Highway Mobile Asphalt Plants. The Asphalt Plant Operator would be responsible for safe operation of the asphalt plant .

Key Responsibilities

• Weigh and deliver specified quantities of aggregates and asphalt cement to dryer for heating, and to mixer for mixing and dumping into trucks.
• Operate asphalt plants controls.
• Maintain proper heat in dryer and proper flow of materials.
• Compile reports regarding plant production and plant maintenance.
• Maintain plant equipment.
• Other duties as required.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Strong math skills and strong mechanical aptitude.
• High School Diploma.
• Experience with CMI and Astec plant controls are an asset.
• Computer skills, experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Asphalt Plant Operator.
