You will sit within a business unit and partner with senior HR People leaders to interpret business requirements.


How You Will Contribute


You will:


  • Support and partner with the Director People Lead on the definition and execution of global and local policy and change initiatives and understand the impacts of the changes planned
  • `Consult on overhead management
  • Partner with function leads and middle managers to collaborate on creating and delivering the functional priorities and plan, providing strategic guidance
  • Build end-to-end capabilities that accelerate consumer-centric growth and operational excellence
  • Lead and advise on talent management practices within assigned business unit related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career and succession planning and talent mobility, approving job requisitions
  • Leverage data analytics in driving business solutions and decisions and support with the delivery of operational processes and leverage insights and data and translate into actionable plans to impact the bottom line and enable business strategy. Inform and update People Services of any local, legal and regulatory changes in market
  • Manage works council relations and provide guidance to HR to ensure successful implementation of labor policies and compliance with laws and agreements

More About This Role


  • Deploy change and program management that drives business strategy and initiatives
  • Manage and track project deliverables in support of the transformation – ensure key milestones and deliverables are met, and facilitate issue resolution
  • Actively manage and track the HR solutions in support of the transformation
  • Act as a change and culture management specialist to assess, define and drive activities related to the transformation
  • Partner with leadership teams on strategic priorities from workforce planning insights and decisions to talent acquisition, leadership development, early career programs, career pathing, succession planning and mobility, and strategic talent reviews
  • Work closely with the HR leadership to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Apply advanced subject matter knowledge and methodology to complex business issues, such as HR transformation
  • Create and deliver executive-level presentations and communications that clearly articulate the issue, required decision and progress against business outcomes
  • Program manage change efforts within each function and connect to the central efforts across the overall transformation. Deploy change and program management that drives business strategy and initiatives
  • Partner with the People Team to lead the accelerated implementation of the Supply Chain culture agenda and labour strategy, focused on driving engagement to transform our people KPIs.
  • Create, own, and implement action plans to drive the efforts
  • Drive key projects, initiatives and governance related to our culture agenda, people and labour strategies.
  • Have a data driven mindset to assess organizational metrics and provide insights to the leaders


Education / Certifications:


A bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent – CHRL/CHRP designation an asset


Job specific requirements:


  • You are a strategist but also someone who can operate and execute with excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build strong relationships and the ability to influence across levels within the organization.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and relationship management including the executive level
  • Experience in project management, driving the implementation of strategy, coaching and developing influential teams.
  • Experience with working with global teams in a matrixed HR support environment and the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience in Supply Chain, 8+ years in HR and Project Management Leadership, with advanced working knowledge of provincial/country specific employment legislation (ESA, HRC, Pay Equity, OHSA, WSIB etc.), COE experience an asset.
  • Strong business acumen bringing critical thinking, prioritization, pragmatism, and change management expertise.
  • Experience in leading and implementing large change management programs, to drive culture change and employee engagement. Advanced interpersonal, consulting, and coaching skills.
  • Agile thinker with the ability to be highly creative, innovative and future oriented as it relates to HR solutions.
  • Ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity and complexity with a growth and transformational mindset.
  • Extensive experience in aligning, prioritizing and executing human resources strategies with the organizational business plan.
