Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our digital advisory firm. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our client base, and fostering strategic partnerships in the digital advisory industry. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and results-oriented professional with a strong background in sales, business development, and a deep understanding of digital technologies and their applications.


Responsibilities:


Develop and implement business development strategies:

  • Create a comprehensive business development plan to drive growth, increase market share, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
  • Identify and target potential clients in the digital advisory industry, including startups, technology companies, and other relevant organizations.
  • Analyze client needs and market demands to develop tailored solutions and service offerings.


Lead client acquisition and relationship management:

  • Provide exceptional client service, address client inquiries, and manage client expectations throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of engagement to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase our digital advisory services and value proposition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizations.


Collaborate with internal teams:

  • Partner with internal teams, including digital consultants, analysts, and technical experts, to deliver high-quality and innovative digital advisory solutions.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective marketing strategies, campaigns, and materials to support business development efforts.
  • Collaborate with project managers and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution and successful delivery of digital advisory projects.


Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and digital transformation initiatives relevant to the digital advisory industry.
  • Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance knowledge and establish thought leadership.


Track and report on sales performance:

  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and business development initiatives to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and client interactions using CRM systems.


Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex digital concepts to clients.
  • Strong knowledge of digital technologies, including cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation strategies.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client needs and provide innovative solutions.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the digital advisory or consulting industry.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop effective sales strategies, and drive business expansion.
