Summary
Bell Transformation & Systems team provides guidance and support for business transformation initiatives focusing on customer experience, process efficiency, and cost savings. The team facilitates project success by establishing best practices, system/process alignment, mitigating risks and ensuring on-time project delivery.
As a stakeholder of a cross-functional team, the successful candidate will be involved to deliver one of Bell’s key initiatives --- to optimize Bell’s Ordering & Billing platforms. This transformational program will deliver a more streamlined model to reduce support and development costs, improve customer/agent experience, and free up working capital.
Key Responsibilities
Bell Transformation and Systems team is looking for a passionate, highly organized and self-driven individual with strong leadership skills.
Reporting To The Senior Manager, The Business Analyst Will Be Involved In All Aspects Of Numerous Sub-projects Under The Core Program

• Understand, identify and analyze business problems/opportunities and define the scope of activities required to address them
• Closely collaborate with internal teams (eg. Pricing, Operations, Legal, Finance, HR, etc) and external vendors (eg. Billing and IT partners) to translate business objectives into system/process requirements, recommend technology and business preferred solutions and implementing them according to specifications
• Gather key learnings and apply best practices to other regions and business units
• Support post-launch activities, defect escalations, corrections and exceptions handling, process improvements
• Prioritize and line up all key deliverables among sub-projects in preparation of phased approach roll out and mass launch

The Business Analyst’s Primary Responsibilities Include

• Liaise with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, IT, vendors, project managers and various levels of management and non-management resources
• Research and map work flow and business processes
• Conduct research and root-cause analysis on existing misalignments, pricing & operational gaps and failures among different systems, regions and business units
• Support testing and change management requirements
• Facilitate and provide business impact analysis including risks assessments
• Articulate and prioritize business requirements into system and process functional requirements
• Ensure Day-2 processes and supporting aids are available to facilitate ongoing pricing execution post deployment
• Contribute to large, transformational and complex strategic projects
• Provide regular project status update reports to Manager, Project Team and Senior Management

Critical Qualifications

• Ability to effectively lead, inspire and influence others and collaborate to achieve best results and aggressive timelines
• Able to handle multiple projects and priorities at the same time while linking the dots and identify efficiencies & improvement opportunities
• Very comfortable with large amount of details, deal with ambiguity and constant change
• Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills (clear, precise verbal and written skills) with the ability to deliver effective presentations through all levels of the organization
• Flexible to work under pressure and meet deadlines, displays high sense of urgency
• Experience with all aspects of projects in complex environments (including timeline management, prioritization, scope vs risk management, issues handling, critical path identification, business transformation etc.)
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and high performance

Knowledge And Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
• University degree, college diploma and or related work experience
• Exposure and understanding of various systems and architecture
• Strong understanding and experience with change management principles
• Agile methodology certified, Project Management Institute Certified(PMP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is an asset
• 3-5 years of Pricing and/or business analyst experience
