Bilingual Contract Administrator
Richmond Hill, ON
Introduction
The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for coordinating and managing contracts within the organization. They will work closely with key stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, and legal teams, to ensure the successful execution of contracts in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Two days' per week required in-office in Richmond Hill.
Responsibilities
- Be a legal liaison for the Canadian organization, assisting with the prioritization and funneling of the opportunities.
- Use sound business judgement to ensure consistency amongst contracts within Canada
- Participate in process improvement projects as assigned by Manager
- Provide in-depth review of terms and conditions for both pre/post bid tenders.
- Update and maintain database of executed contracts and maintaining contract calendar
- Act as project manager in all Canadian contracts
- Support the RFP team in the process whenever necessary
- Identify risks found within terms & conditions. Liaise with Canadian legal representation for clarification and develop risk mitigation recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, applicable laws, regulations and standards
- Determine when there is a need to escalate issues to appropriate teams (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Business leaders, etc.)
- Assist stakeholders with the strategic management of the contracts calendar taking into account the entire Canadian perspective
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with contract management/administration
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- French/English Bilingual: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
