- Manage Channel and Potential Conflict among Multiple Channel Partners
- Drive Regal Rexnord brand preference and specification at the point of customer influence, whether the Distributor, Referred OEM, OEM or End User
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives with assigned channel partners.
- Execute the following disciplined selling processes to attain quota: 1) Purposeful account planning, 2) Time and territory management, and 3) Funnel opportunity management/CRM proficiency
- Collaborates successfully in a team selling environment with Strategic Account Executives, Strategic Account Managers, Vertical Account Managers and Inside Sales Specialists
- Educate end users, referred OEM’s, OEM’s and distributors on differentiation and value of Regal Rexnord Products.
- Leverage Regal Rexnord’s ease of doing business tools to enhance customer experience
- Ensure channel partner compliance with Regal Rexnord policies and agreements
- Responsible for all ID locations, all end user locations and some direct OEMs on an exception basis in a defined geographic territory.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate channel partner needs on an ongoing basis through QBR process
- Grow Regal Rexnord market share by emphasizing total cost of ownership with end users and distributors; and ROI based Solution Selling at OEM’s.
- Establish self as trusted technical advisor for channel partners, referred OEM’s, OEM’s and end users.
- An essential function of this job is to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Maximize new business and marketing opportunities via the execution of BU Playbooks.
- Manages the distributor channel by facilitating communication among distributor, referred OEM’s, end users & VAM’s and Regal Rexnord Business Units.
- Drive adoption of company programs among assigned channel partners
- Be technically competent in the knowledge and application of all Regal Rexnord products in served markets. Engage proficient technical support as required.
- Sells through channel partner organizations to end users and OEMs in coordination with channel partner sales resources
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned channel partner accounts.
- BA/BS Industrial Technologies/Mech. Eng./Industrial Distribution or related field preferred.
- 3+ years outside technical sales; P.T. & bearings industry experience preferred.
- Competent in MS Office applications / CRM Management / Business application software
- Mechanical aptitude
