Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Participate in CS Training Program/CIBC Mellon Leadership Development Program/HR Training courses.
  • Lead and participate in special projects related to future initiatives
  • Participate in Client presentations as needed.
  • Act as a back-up Supervisor, as required.
  • Liaise with key business areas in BNY Mellon and CIBC Mellon to facilitate smooth, timely and accurate resolution to queries/issues.
  • Support and identify opportunities to improve processes within the group
  • Provide training to Specialists as required.
  • Support all relationships within the assigned client group (Mutual Funds, ETF Funds, Pension Plans, or Sub-custody)
  • Assist with quarterly calls to Clients or Investment Managers.
  • Research all overdrafts or idle balances daily to ensure validity.
  • Take appropriate action to ensure timely market settlement of all cash and securities transaction to reduce market exposure.
  • Day to day service contact for Top Tier Client’s and Investment Managers and act as subject matter expert on complex issues.
  • Provide direction and support to staff in Toronto and Pune including assisting the staff with managing complex client issues and inquiries, and helping to liaise with internal departments.
Qualifications
  • Detail oriented with good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Successful completion of post-secondary program with focus on business, finance or accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 3 years progressive experience
  • Experience in customer service
