Role: Business Analyst- Markets & Securirties Systems
Duration: Contract
Salary/Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience

Our client- a leading bank in Global Banking and Markets is an emerging markets-led, financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions, are currently seeking an individual to join the team in the role of Business Analyst
The successful candidate will be a part of the Chief Operating Office participating in MSS business activities, supporting senior stakeholders with BAU & non-BAU initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Align to high-standards of presentation skills across the Group.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, regularly act on own initiative, highlighting issues and suggesting possible solutions.
- Ensure effective record keeping, quality checks, and data management, across multiple projects.
- Work with various stakeholders to track risks, dependencies, actions and collate responses for management.
- Adhere to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and satisfying implementation of internal and external audit points.
- Facilitate implementation of appropriate governance along with robust documentation and supporting management controls.
- Generate project status reports and track deadlines.
- Review and prepare materials ahead of working group meetings and ensure action items are being tracked.
- Work with teams across different lines of business and participate in various projects or assignments to ensure target dates and milestones are met.
- Support the Business Management team in day-to-day activities and provide support to MSS Project Managers.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
MUST HAVE SKILLS
- Good understanding of Business Analysis best practices, methodologies and the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field such as business, finance, law or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Analysis at a top-tier bank
- Strong understanding of products and systems related to Sales & Trading / Cap Markets
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
- Strong Excel skills (Spreadsheets, Synthesize Data, Pivots, Large Data Sets, Merging, vLookups, etc.)
- Experience in the Mergers and Acquisitions space
Essential Experience
- Working within a tight deadlines framework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working closely with and challenging business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple onshore/offshore stakeholders and manage their expectations.
