Job Description
Reports to: Human Resources Manager


Job Location: Pimee Well Servicing Head Office, Kehewin, Alberta & Pimee Maintenance – Ardmore, Alberta


General Purpose: Under the direction of the Human Resource Manager, the Administrative Assistant 2 will be responsible for providing support to all head office and safety personnel. This position is of entry level in nature and will provide administrative and general office duties for the company with the potential for future advancement.


Administrative


  • To assist with Safety Certification tracking on the Pimee Safety portal, Pimee 360 database and any other database for effective training requirements of personnel
  • To maintain and develop HR and Safety systems and processes to address the effective management of people in relation to the following in order to maintain competitive advantage for:
  • To ensure timely on-boarding of new field and administrative employees, in order to maintain business needs, with a primary focus on training needs for field employees.
  • Coordinate Safety Certification matrix and Scheduling of Field employees
  • Providing administrative support to all departmental members, including Senior Management and assistance to HR, Safety and Finance departments.
  • Assist with and maintain Pimee Well Servicing website, Pimee 360 program, and Employee Site.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required
  • Assist and advise HR Manager, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer on new and amended Alberta Labour Laws, Standards and Regulations.
  • Employee orientation and on-boarding
  • To assist with the promotion of Pimee WellServicing at various career fairs, tradeshows and school functions.


Accountability


  • Research and provide feedback on any Human Resource and Safety related issues as required by HR Manager,
  • Able to work independently or as a team member. Fast Pace environment and Multi-tasking is key.
  • Maintain personnel requirements and updates, including assisting with documentation preparation submitted to the HR Manager, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer.


EHS Advisor, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer and/or other parties on timely basis.


Qualifications


  • Adhere to Pimee Well Servicing’s Alcohol & Drug program
  • Must have valid Drivers’ License and adequate Transportation
  • Excellent communication and written skills. Must have exceptional computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software programs: Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Educational requirements – previous related experience or educational equivalencies would be an asset.
