Amazing opportunity to join a growing construction company in the role of Accounting Manager overseeing a team of five staff. Reporting to the Corporate Office finance leaders and working closely with the local operations leader, this key role will be responsible for is responsible for the accounting operations of the company, which include producing periodic financial reports, maintaining an adequate system of accounting records, and a wide-ranging set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that said results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
Demonstrated competency in the following will ensure success in this role:

• Judgment and integrity in business decision making commensurate with this role
• Time Management – both personal and to manage others.
• Communication and leadership with staff, customers, suppliers and bankers
• Multi-tasking and balancing multiple demands, priorities and functions.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be CPA designated and possess at least five years management experience in a senior accounting, administrative and decision-making role as well as have demonstrated understanding of profitability by function including estimating, purchasing, inventory management, field operations and production.
Other required skills include; strong IT, software and hardware management skills. Experience using Jonas is an asset, Microsoft applications (Office, Excel, Outlook and Internet). Multiple accounting system knowledge would be an asset or alternative construction based/oriented software.
