BS/BA or 1+ years of ENCORE or equivalent experience required

1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred

Minimum 3 years experience in a Hotel Sales Manager role.

Liaison as Manager on Duty during meeting & event functions

Knowledge of business market an asset.

Experience with Word, Excel, PPT

Envision and Opera experience preferred

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Ensure outside sales team follows up on quotes and customer follow up requirements including ensuring contracts are renewed annually

Manages customer rebate incentive programs to drive growth

Nature and Length of Experience:

Effective leadership, development and expansion of the Canadian sales and customer service teams

Develop S.W.O.T analysis for business (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) and include capitalization or mitigation plan in strategy

Develops and administers sales plans to ensure customer satisfaction, assigned quota attainment, good reference accounts, and highly skilled and motivated staff.

Manages sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.

· Completion of a recognized two-year program in Food Service and Nutrition Management.

· Completion of a recognized integrated program in Environmental, Infection Control and Sanitation Management.

· Active Member of Canadian Society of Nutrition Management.

· Human Resource Management Certificate.

· Seven (7) years’ recent, Food Service and Nutrition Management.

· Seven (7) years’ recent, Environmental, Infection Control and Sanitation Management.

Carries out management functions in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.

Minimum of 3-5 years in retail management with responsibility for sales and merchandising.

Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.

Acts as Manager on Duty and opens / closes the store.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
