Overview:
A Facilities Officer is responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of a company’s physical assets, such as buildings, equipment, and grounds. They are responsible for ensuring that the facilities are safe, secure, and in good working order. They may also be responsible for managing the budget for the facilities, as well as overseeing the staff that work in the facilities.How To Become an Facilities Officer:
To become a Facilities Officer, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent. You may also need to have some experience in the field, such as working in a maintenance or facilities department. You may also need to have some knowledge of building codes and regulations, as well as a basic understanding of safety protocols.Facilities Officer Skills:
