Possesses a minimum of 10+ years’ experience at the Controller/Management level within commercial/industrial real estate management or a related field.

Collaborate closely with the leadership team, offering advice, valuable insights, and recommendations to ensure timely and relevant budget preparation.

Provide support to the VP, Finance, in managing the company's tax planning initiatives, including liaising with external advisors as necessary.

Manage cash flows and working capital through ongoing forecasting and analysis.

Provide monthly cash flow analysis to the CFO and MD offering valuable insights.

Collaborate closely with the Property Managers, maintaining property budgets and reconciliations.

Maintain a supplier management documentation system;

Efficiently draft and manage calls for tender, contracts and contract renewals;

Use an approach based on contract risk analysis that takes into account compliance with business requirements;

Develop synergies with the various business sectors in order to support them in the development, implementation and coordination of procurement-related processes;

Establish contract negotiation strategies in collaboration with business units;

Ensure that the company's procurement policies and guidelines are understood and respected;

Understanding project funding requirements and, working with the Finance House Team, structuring debt financing to meet project funding needs

Analyzing loan offers and terms

A University degree or diploma in Real Estate, Business or Finance

Experience working with proformas and underwriting deals

Excellent written and oral communication skills

A strong working knowledge of Excel

Experience as a Relationship Manager or in a Credit adjudication capacity is desirable.

Maintain a mastery level of knowledge in their area of responsibility and credit risk

Minimum 5 years mid market/corporate lending experience in the financial services industry.

Experience in the Real Estate sector is required.

Post-secondary education in Business, CFA, MBA or an equivalent discipline would be an asset.

Knowledge of financial oversight and management of a non-profit in Canada.

An extensive knowledge and understanding of the operations of the Professional Institute as they relate to financial management and administrative issues.

Completion of a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and income tax laws.

High level of proficiency in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles along with automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

Experience in government funding; lead and satisfy all SRED/IRAP filing requirements.

Responsible for treasury and cash management.

Solid experience leading, managing and expanding accounting and finance departments in a fast- paced environment.

Director of Finance, Real Estate

· Oversee TGA Group finance and property accounting operations

· Lead development and maintenance of finance accounting policies, processes, and best practices.

· Partner with technology support team on finance system upgrades, reporting enhancements, security and operational effectiveness.

· Minimum 10 years of related real estate industry experience

Extensive experience and knowledge in dealing with finance and accounting systems and matters, internal control, financial modeling & budgeting, asset management.

Identify, report risk issues where relevant; Support the initiatives of risk mitigation / management

10+ years’ experience in finance analysis/budgeting/forecasting

SAP experience and/or SOX requirement is an asset.

What You Need To Know

Manage, coach and mentor a team of finance professionals including CPAs and CPA candidates

7+ years of work experience in an accounting or finance environment

Experience building and managing relationships with direct reports and internal stakeholders

Progressive experience working at an accounting firm or software company

Experience with M&A activity – on the buy or sell side

Conducting financial due diligence and oversight of the financial integration of new acquisitions, including intangible valuations and acquisition accounting entries

10-15 years Corp. Finance and accounting experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting related Degree

CTP or other professional certification

3-5 years experience managing treasury operations

5 years experience managing direct reports

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

Exceptional accounting, financial modeling, and data analysis skills

A desire to pursue a challenging career in real estate finance

Experience in M&A or corporate development is a plus

Experience drafting and reviewing legal financing documents is a plus

Prepare the monthly management accounts for the company with the Finance controller

Relevant post-qualified experience in a financial/ management accountant or financial controller role in a large company

Experience of preparing/ reviewing monthly management accounts to a deadline in a past role

Support management decisions such on contractors’ deliveries Capex

Communicate with Directors and other senior management within the business on day-to-day activities and on findings from analysis/ review of accounts

At least 2 year of supervisory or management experience (direct reports or team oversight)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and excellent management of stakeholder relations
