Continent Finance Director Jobs

Baseline solving ltd is a self-employed company moving its activities to a full limited liability company, the company is looking to employ Financial Controller Continents Director to drive the accounting section of the company to meet the desire objective of the organization. The company is growing to become one of the top five of the worlds on line retail market e-commerce in Europe Asia, America and Africa.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly management accounts for the company with the Finance controller

• Identify efficiencies to streamline and improve our current processes, particularly as a key member of the project team
• Effectively manage your Direct report 2- 4 direct report
• Manage the year end audit process and be the key point of contact with the auditors throughout
• Lead and manage the monthly accounting, through review and supporting the preparation, of the rest of the UK division accounts and the global world
• Oversee the administration of the infrastructure property delivery
• Ensure accurate reporting to Directors on a monthly basis to agree upon deadlines finance support
• Communicate with Directors and other senior management within the business on day-to-day activities and on findings from analysis/ review of accounts
• Provide support in all areas of finance and the day-to-day leadership of the finance department
• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and other month end control files.
• Support with the preparation of consolidated results, including forward looking budgets and forecasts
• Support management decisions such on contractors’ deliveries Capex
• Keep up-to-date with technical and regulatory updates and be a key source of accounting expertise for the team
• Manage compliance with tax, VAT and other statutory reporting deadlines
• Ensure robust financial controls are in place and work with other members of the finance team to ensure these are continually improved in line with industry best practice

Experience/ Skill Requirements

• Driven, ambitious and professional
• Highly proficient with excel and good IT literacy
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Fully Qualified Accountant (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA)
• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Highly detail oriented and analytical with commerciality
• Relevant post-qualified experience in a financial/ management accountant or financial controller role in a large company
• Experience of preparing/ reviewing monthly management accounts to a deadline in a past role
• Organisation, prioritization, and time management skills
• Ability to solve problems and be adaptable

Desired:

• Experience leading a team/ supervising and coaching in a past role
• Experience of using Microsoft A X12, Euro stop or Dynamics 365
• Time spent working in a large accountancy firm
• Experience of preparing statutory accounts/ leading a year end audit process in a past role

Qualifications

• Strong communication and analytical skills
• 5+ years' of experience in finance or accounting
• CMA designation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
