Director Of Finance Jobs

TheDirector of Financewill oversee corporate accounting practices and functions. This includes general accounting operations, financial analysis and forecasting, audits, and regular reporting to upper management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation of budget and review budget to actual and cash flow forecast
• Lead, coach and support the accounting team
• Oversee the inventory management and ERP operations
• Develop, implement, monitor and improve internal controls over financial reporting
• Oversee the accounting operations, including the monthly and quarterly preparation of accounting month-end cycle reports
• Preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statement and MD&A and assist the auditors during the audit process
• Responsible for key and/or complex accounting transactions, including costing of cannabis and biological assets

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in managing and supervising staff
• Advanced skills in Excel and ERP knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics) is considered an asset
• 7+ years’ experience in accounting
• Hands on with a collaborative mindset and desire to improve performance across the organization
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, CPA required
• Ability to work in and to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities
• Leadership skills and ability to work effectively with others at all levels and functions across the Company
