Director Finance Jobs

Are you a CPA, CA looking to join the world of real estate? Do you have exceptional finance, analytical and financial systems skills? Does a career in finance excite and intrigue you? Our client, a growing real estate finance company in the Tri City area is currently recruiting a Director Finance.

The Director Finance is head of the company’s corporate finance function, and will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day forecasting, reporting, and treasury activities. The Director will play a key role advancing strategic initiatives for the department and business, while working closely with the Vice President, Corporate Finance, the accounting team, and other key internal/external stakeholders. This is a dynamic, challenging, and visible role that will grow in scope and responsibility over time. The incumbent must posses a strong technical foundation (financial modelling, reporting, accounting, data analytics), and be results driven. The incumbent is comfortable problem solving independently and collaborating with other teams or departments in a finance capacity. The Director Finance will report to the Director.

Requirements

• A qualified CPA with 7+ years of professional work experience, ideally in public accounting in addition to post firm experience in FP&A
• Experience in M&A or corporate development is a plus
• Exceptional accounting, financial modeling, and data analysis skills
• Strong attention to detail, organized, and a strong communicator
• A desire to pursue a challenging career in real estate finance
• Experience drafting and reviewing legal financing documents is a plus
