We extend our value-driven purchasing service model to external clients who benefit from our negotiated contracts with manufacturers that support food and beverage and facility management suppliers.Job Summary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Overseeing the financial reporting, planning and forecasting for Foodbuyincluding sector P&L reviews, capital approvals, and sector financial analysis.Provides financial oversight guidance, support and control to the Foodbuy sector.Leads the month end close process ensuring results come in line with expectations and all variances are fully understood.Coordinates the preparation and submission of annual budgets and forecasts.Calculates midyear estimates and annual incentive bonus amounts for sector associates.Manages the New Business proforma tracking, including the calculation of quarterly sales commissions.Manages the Hyperion forecasting tools for Income by Supplier and Foodbuy P&L.Coordinates/Participates in special projectsAttracts, develops and retains associates and provides a safe and supportive work environmentQualifications:Education: University Degree/equivalent. Major in finance preferred, CMA, CPA, CA, CGAMinimum 8 years progressive financial experience with 4 years at management level.Strong understanding of financial planning, statements, KPI's and profitability measures, budget developmentStrong communication and analytical skillsProven ability to work in a complex, fast paced environmentPrevious experience with multi-unit operations preferred.Compass Group Canada is committed to nurturing a diverse workforce representative of the communities within which we operate.
