Experience leading a team of high-performance engineers.

Strong experience with Networking Diagnostic Tools.

Excellent design and architecture skills to read code, Python, Go and C/C++. Etc. and review network designs.

Senior-level design experience delivering solutions on Linux software.

Urgent Contract Hiring for Senior Automation Engineer Role: DT, Toronto, Canada

Hands-on experience with electrical systems

Solid computer networking knowledge is preferable

Efficiently process orders upon receipt and keep stakeholders informed of progress

Collaborate effectively with customers and the sales team as necessary

Assemble and pre-provision networking and hardware equipment according to project specifications

Coordinate with the inventory team following established operational procedures

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent education.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in internet backbone platforms and IP routing protocols

Good knowledge of Cisco products and traffic generation tools

CCNA or CCNP certification an asset

Carry out Internet backbone portfolio growth projects

Validate new products, solutions and software used in the Internet Backbone and ensure transfer to operations

Developing and maintaining GMP system documentation and manage supporting compliance activities.

Support the plant operations by acting as a technical expert in automation.

Act as electrical technical expert for the internal and external projects, by approving electrical plans and procedures.

Define and ensure the maintenance of standards in control and automation.

University degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent diploma (member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).

Develop automation to improve deployments of new branches and support existing infrastructure, e.g. device provisioning, configuration management, testing, patching, etc.

Participate as needed in incident, problem and change management processes as well as lessons learned with focus on continuous improvements

Configure and manage routing and switching platforms to support business applications

Design, configure and manage Wi-Fi solutions to support voice and location services

Configure and manage WAN between all locations with in-house solutions or provider managed services

Have strong risk and schedule management skills.

Have a good understanding of project management principles and best practices.

Have 3+ years of experience providing project coordination or IT-related deployment support, including;

Have excellent, clear, and concise communication skills, and proficient writing skills for the preparation of reports and presentations.

Have a strong ability to prioritize tasks, especially in situations with competing requirements.

Have excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
