As an electrical / automation engineer, your mandate will be to act as project manager in the operations automation and robotization mandates in addition to being the technical expert in electrical installation in order to approve plans and ensure the implementation of good practices in electricity.
Your responsibilities

• Act as project manager for automation projects.
• Act as electrical technical expert for the internal and external projects, by approving electrical plans and procedures.
• Support the plant operations by acting as a technical expert in automation.
• Actively contribute to the development and monitoring of the master plan for electrical automation and installation and participate in the exchange of good practices with the other plants of the group in this field.
• Define and ensure the maintenance of standards in control and automation.

Your background

• Knowledge of electrical installation.
• Mastery of reading electrical plans.
• Bilingual (English/French), both spoken and written.
• Mastery of the various electrical standards (Z462, electrical code).
• Mastery of PLC, HMI, Drive, Robotics programming.
• Five to ten years of relevant experience.
• University degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent diploma (member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).
