What’s exciting about this position?


As a Lead Deployment Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing large-scale deployment projects, ensuring successful implementation of our cutting-edge solutions. Your expertise will extend beyond technical aspects, encompassing mentorship and process development to drive operational excellence.


  • Provide guidance, support, and training to Technical Engineers, with hands-on assistance as needed.
  • Create streamlined deployment procedures, improving project efficiency and uniformity.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance deployment processes.
  • Partake in the hiring team for new resources.
  • Establish a skill/knowledge onboarding plan for new Technical Engineers.
  • Partake in global process and best practices creation and updates (as needed) and be the local owner.
  • Instill the Sectra culture and be a role model in terms of communication and collaboration within and between different teams and groups.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges during deployment, offering effective solutions to ensure successful implementation.
  • Lead quality assurance testing activities to validate system functionality and compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications and deployment workflows.
  • Lead end-to-end deployment projects, from initial planning to post-implementation support, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • May perform other related or non-related duties as assigned.

Think you’ve got what it takes? Great. Here's a few more boxes we’re also hoping you can tick:


  • At least 8 years of experience in deployment engineering, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale deployment projects.
  • Experience engaging in technical discussions at various levels, including system architecture, integrations, imaging standards, data flow between systems, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Possessing extensive expertise in PACS technologies, DICOM, HL7, and related healthcare IT standards, coupled with relevant certifications, is a valuable advantage.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, capable of guiding and developing a team of engineers.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of enterprise healthcare software, diagnostic imaging solutions, radiology workflows, and/or software integrations.
