Job location: Ottawa, Canada - Hybrid
About The Team
Kinaxis is looking for a talented candidate to work within the Product Verification team. The Product Verification (PV) team is responsible for End-to-End software deployments and configurations on Cloud using modern platform tooling. This is the only team within R&D that performs the deployment of all the software solutions, hence there is a strong need for collaboration across all development teams, as well as the opportunity to work with variety of tooling. We are looking for talented, innovation-driven people to join our growing team.
What You Will Do

• Work as a Deployment Specialist as a member of the Product Verification (PV) team.
• Deploy E2E environments using modern platform tooling like Jenkins/Git CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Argo CD, and Ansible.
• Ensure that all required environments necessary to complete End-to-End and Performance testing of features/solutions are built to specifications and maintained/upgraded as needed to ensure successful running of all regression suites.
• Work closely with all PV teams to gather requirements, work with Development teams to ensure requirements are understood, and work very closely with the Cloud Services teams as necessary to ensure successful implementation of those requirements.

What We Are Looking For

• Containers and orchestrators (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Experience working on cross functional scrum teams
• HELM charts authoring
• CI/CD solutions (i.e. Git, GitOps, Argo CD)
• Cloudify, Ansible, Kafka, Jenkins
• Understanding of agile methodologies and Scrum
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science
• 5+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (both console and API) like GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Azure, or AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• In-depth and proactive communication and documentation skills
• Configuration management tools (i.e. Ansible)
• Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies
• Initiative and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Experience with architecture and deployment of Cloud Services, including experience with:
• General administration of public cloud
• Ability to share with and/or absorb knowledge from others in the team/company
• Demonstrated ability to monitor/manage cloud spend
• Infrastructure as Code (i.e. Terraform)
• Deployment of AKS/GKE clusters

Nice To Haves

• Practical experience in building and managing applications and microservices
• System monitoring and centralized logging platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK)
• Network administration awareness
